EU allocates €25 million to expand migration cooperation with eastern Libya

The European Union has signed an agreement to provide an additional €25 million ($29 million) in funding to expand cooperation on combating irregular migration to eastern Libya, Reuters reported Tuesday. Reuters said it had reviewed a letter sent by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to EU leaders outlining the initiative.
