Military leaders from eastern and western Libya agree on four-track joint action plan

Military leaders from eastern and western Libya concluded their first joint meeting in Sirte on Wednesday, with the chiefs of staff of the air force, navy and air defense agreeing on a four-track joint action plan covering joint exercises, armament cooperation, logistics, and military training and education. The meeting is part of efforts to advance the unification of Libya’s military institution, strengthen state sovereignty and safeguard the country’s resources.
