Libya says it can help Europe offset energy supply losses

Libya can help Europe make up for energy supply losses linked to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Abdulsadek has said. Speaking at the Offshore Northern Seas conference in Stavanger, Norway, Abdulsadek said Libya could play a key role in supporting the European Union's energy security. “There is no doubt that we are going through extremely difficult times when it comes to energy security,” he said.
